The lights in all the world’s libraries just got that little bit dimmer.
Interesting story here about a local museum in Harper Lee’s hometown of Monroeville using the name of her novel on souvenirs without her consent. What amazes me is that the museum even had the audacity to name its website after her novel (tokillamockingbird.com).
Fortunately, it seems that there has been an out-of-court agreement made and Harper Lee will see some rightly-deserved compensation. The museum has also changed its website URL.
